It came assembled. i load my 5 lb propane/grill tank. it starts like any gas fixture, with a push down / spin knob. it started easy and fired through its 3 settings. this is exactly what i wanted for indoor use. in my 12x7x7 this is overkill with ambient temps of negative 1 F. Its hot in here.
