My flowers are blooming in rich colors like never before. The size of the flowers and fruits is larger. Everyone asks what did you use as a fertilizer. All leaves are dark green in color. I am amazed that plants are flowering in the winter season. I will be using this Expert Gardener Flower Plant Food Fertilizer 10-10-10, 4 lb every week.

I like to use slow release fertilizers in my garden and there's no reason to buy a more expensive brand. The Expert Gardener options (a Walmart Brand) work just fine. My perennials bloom even if I don't feed them, but for lush blooming for a long period, I fertilize them before blooming and then again at least once every three weeks once they're blooming. There are multiple options and I use most of them. The general plant one and the flower one come in both 4lb and 8 lb sizes. The latter is cheaper per pound. There's also one for evergreens %26 acidic plants, one for roses, etc.
