Recommended by my physical therapist for a hip flexor injury. I wear a size 8 women's so size S men's fit since the shorts needed to be snug. The size seems to run small. Fabric is heavy weave but comfortable and wicks moisture so it stays cool wearing and it doesn't chafe. I bought it for soccer to help with managing pain with the injury. The pain didn't disappear but more tolerable because of the wrap feature of the panels. It worked as much as I hoped..
