Helps keep your foot from slipping

I've bought mats like this before but from other stores. This one is ok, just not as thick sturdy a black rubber backing as others I've had. It does however accomplish what I needed it for. I placed it under our lift chair so when my dad gets up, he won't slip on our viynl flooring when getting up out of his chair. Putting it 3/4 under the chair allows the chair weight to keep the mat from slipping too. It works for our need and I'll probably buy another one to put on the floor at his bedside too. It's very easy to keep clean via vacuuming often.
