This coat rack is pretty and functional. It looks nice in my foyer that is open to the living room without being obtrusive. It was simple to put together. There are many places to add a jacket and umbrellas. It wasn't too girly for my husband.

I needed a compact, many-pronged coat tree that was also sturdy and balanced when coats are on it. This is it! I have cream-colored walls, so it matches perfectly. I am a bird watcher, so the decor fit. The entire thing looks like a textured tree with pine cones and bird(1) on it. It has 13 branch-prongs as hangers, alternating about, so many items will fit onto it. The umbrella stand has a rimmed catch-pan, removable for draining. The 'tree' is somewhat 'antiqued' with brown streaks. Even when it is unevenly loaded with coats, it hasn't tipped. (It doesn't have a weighted base). Saw many others when shopping; none with as many hangers; and this was less expensive. The only reason I didn't give it top marks is that the 3 parts of the trunk didn't line up well with the textured 'bark'. The assembly was very easy, no tools needed. I'm a middle-aged single female and did it in 10 minutes.
