I've been using my drinkmate for the last 2 weeks and so far I love it. I enjoy sparkling water daily so it makes me feel a lot better not throwing away a bunch of plastic bottles. It's super easy to use. I think it makes water more carbonated than any water I buy at the store. Definitely worth the price. Plus I can make anything else I have on hand carbonated. Setup was simple, just have to be conscious of drinks that might fix more than others to fill them under the max line.

I owned a soda stream prior and hated it. The thing never really carbonated anything and Amazon refused to take a return. I had been consuming about 2 cases of seltzer a week and it was getting expensive. So I did just a bit of research on these machines via magazine reviews and a well known non biased evaluation group. nearly everyone spoke highly of the drinkmate, so when wallyworld put these on sale I threw the switch with a bit of trepidation. Picked up some ginger syrup and went to town nailing down the perfect ginger beer recipe. This machine flat out ROCKS! While the carbonation has finer bubbles than commercial seltzer, the volume of them more than compensates. As long as you tightly seal the cap after each use the liter bottle retains fizz overnight. Best of all, you can recharge it in the am. I don't generally laude products, as my Amazon reviews will confirm, but this baby is going to save me a good bit of change. I was spending about $65 beans a week. The drinkmate pays for itself in a month. If you're on the fence take the leap. You won't regret it.
