I Will Be Looking For Another Kind Of Cone

Having to cut the plastic cone shorter so Rebel would be able to eat and drink while wearing a plastic cone led me to look for a different cone. Since the cone needed to be cut shorter,it made it possible for Rebel to still overgroom his upper hind legs and his back area. When I saw this recovery donut/cone,I thought that it could be the ticket. It is comfortable for him.Allows him to use the food and water dishes fine. There is no problem with him getting in and out of the enclosed litter box.It is waterproof,which is nice; but,with what can rub against,stick to,and the moisture that gets on the donut,I am not sure about. It can be wiped,etc; but,when I am not around,the cat uses it like a pillow when laying down.The real let down is that Rebel is still able to work around the donut/ cone,enabling him to still groom/ overgroom.If I got the large one the outer ring diameter would be too large for Rebel as far as anything goes.
