It's more like 2 minute cooking time, but still a quick, healthy and delicious breakfast before work. I personally put apple butter (2 full spoons for about 2 servings) after I take it out of the microwave. It tastes just like their apple and cinnamon instant oatmeal but healthier and cheaper.

The Quaker Old Fashioned Instant Whole Grain Oatmeal is an excellent product, overall. The oats cook easily as directed on the packaging, whether stove-top or microwave. The oats don't break down during the cooking process, consistently retain their texture, and are extremely flavorful (not to mention nutritious). After cooking I often add a small amount (teaspoon) of brown sugar, tab of butter, a few slices of banana and peanut butter, which add robust flavor. I highly recommend the Quaker Old Fashioned Instant Whole Grain Oatmeal. 5-stars.

Quaker Me Crazy!

This is my go to on my lazy days. Just boil my water. Vanilla salt cinnamon brown sugar and whatever fruit or sweet potato on hand and thats it. My kiddies love it. Quick and simple. You should get you some. Make life simple again!!! No I dont ever use a microwave for this.
