I actually purchased this pillow for the driver seat in my Car, I have lower back pain and needed some support in the Lumbar area while im driving. This cushion is Great, Super Comfy! Is a supportive memory foam, it doesn't get flat when you put your back against it.. (for reference im 118lbs - 5.5 ft). It has the perfect amount of thickness, very ergonomic, it hugs your back! I personally don't get hot while using it, probably because it comes with a breathable and washable cover… Please make sure you fluff the pillow or “massage it” right after you get it out of the bag is shipped in, to maximize its cushioning power! ;) The pillow has an elastic in the back so you can keep it in place when using.. FYI, this is not my first cushion, I have tried many others.. but so far this one is the absolute winner in keeping my back comfortable while im in the car.. Im so happy with it, that i plan to buy a couple more, one to put on my passenger seat (when my hubby drives) and one on my work office chair… I would 110% recommend this item if you are looking to get relief for your back pain while driving your car or if you just want a more ergonomic posture on your office chair or Car!
