If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and mouth. Avoid contact with hair and dyed fabrics, which may be bleached by this product. Skin irritation may occur, characterized by redness, burning, itching, peeling, or possibly swelling. Irritation may be reduced by using the product less frequently or in a lower concentration. Do not use if you have very sensitive skin. Are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation becomes severe. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Proactiv Solution Revitalizing Toner: For external use only. When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash or irritation develops and lasts. Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Renewing Cleanser: Apply twice daily, morning and night. Treat your whole face. Apply a small (dime-sized) amount to dampened skin and gently massage with fingertips for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry and follow with Step 2 (Revitalizing Toner). If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen. Revitalizing Toner: Apply to cleansed skin with a cotton ball or pad, morning and night as needed. Allow toner to dry and follow with Step 3. If going outside, use a sunscreen. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Repairing Treatment: Use morning and night. On clean skin, apply a thin layer to the entire affected area. Allow to dry. Do not rinse off. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application use. If going outside, use a sunscreen. Many years ago I purchased this product and the packaging included a plastic tray to secure the bottles in the cardboard box. When we received this order, the bottles were loose and banging around in a box. It was fine, no damage, but my previous experience was different. I suppose it's better on the environment to not have a plastic container, but presentation was disappointing. The product performance has been positive. Just after two days of use there was noticeable results.
