You get what you pay for.
Assembly wasn't too difficult. There is alot of wood under the bed, so the storage space is there, but not that much under the bed. The frame looks very nice when assembled. However, within 2 weeks of using the bed, the "footboard" bar had a dent in it--right in the middle. It is clearly a structural integrity issue. This is a very inexpensive bed frame and you get what you pay for. I thought that because it was metal, it would be sturdier.
