If you are tired of buying and replacing pool filter cartridges, this filter is the one for you. With virtually no maintenance, your sand pump only needs replacement every five years. This sand pump features a powerful motor, 6-function control, and a built-in automatic timer. It meets the UL standards and is an excellent upgrade to the filter cartridge system on your Intex Above Ground Swimming Pool (Easy Set, Metal Frame and Ultra Frame -- up to 17,200 gallons). This package also includes the Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System. Its unique 2 stage technology uses an E.C.O. (electrocatalytic oxidation) process in which water molecules are split into highly powerful oxidants to destroy organic contaminants.Next, the amount of natural chlorine generated by this saltwater system is greatly reduced, which results is clean water without the potential harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals. It requires a filter pump with a flow rate between 700 to 3,000 gallons per hour and is for use with a maximum pool size of 7,000 gallons. Maintenance is a part of every swimming pool and with this Intex Pool Sand Filter Pump and Krystal Clear Saltwater System you'll have easy to use tools for the job, cutting down on your time spent cleaning.

Versatile

Pool water pump
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Intex above ground pool water pump a must have when it comes to this Texas heat. My kids and I are supper excited for the upcoming summer. This water pump will help me out and save me from cleaning our pool that gets dirty really fast with not having the proper water pump. Look forward to using this the entire summer.
