No support - very frustrating

Trying to replace faucet levers. No way to remove them. No mounting screw. No threads on the bottom. Moen's website has many videos, but none to show you how to do this. Very frustrating.

The 161942 Handle Kit is removed by holding the lever stationary, while unscrewing the base of the handle hub counterclockwise to remove the complete handle.
