it takes two people and time to put together but once we got it together, it is worth it! I love my new bed!

This daybed is stunning! I would definitely recommend it, with some words of caution. Fortunately, for this product, customer service was ok. Most of the time, Walmart delivery service is almost non-existent. The 1st time I ordered the daybed and it finally arrived, the carrier did not leave the big, heavy box at my ground floor apt. door, S/he left it in the snow and rain up the hill leaning against a fence. By the time I was able to go outside and up the hill to retrieve it. It was drenched , %26 the box was beginning to come apart. No way would I try to move it. The 2nd one was left at my door, %26 I was able to cut open the box and bring in the pieces, a few at a time. After it was completely assembled %26 I saw that it would need box springs or something like a thin piece of plywood to support thin mattresses. Otherwise I could feel the strong metal cross bars. Since I don't have a car, I must order a minivan from the car service to go buy a piece of ply wood to support my thin, non-memory foam mattress. Memory foam mattresses are not a good idea, regardless of the hype. If I put a regular sized mattress, I need a stool to be able to get into bed. As for assembly, the directions were excellent. However, because of the weight %26 size of the frame, I couldn't assemble it alone. Fortunate, my son-in-law assembled it for me. The sliding doors on the back are great. The usb ports are useful only for charging my small emergency light. I wouldn't dare charge a phone next to my bed and risk the dangers of avoidable EMF exposure. The unavoidable exposure is too much, as it is. I'm just hoping for the day when Walmart deliveries will arrive at my door. Hopefully that will happen after I file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Buyers Beware! May my words to the wise be sufficient!
