Since it has two sides it can be used on Stainless Steel utensils as well as Glass or Ceramic ones. Also it takes out tough stuck on foods, grease as it cleans. They last at least a month. Tip is to keep it clean by first washing in warm water and soap then either put it in the Microwave for 30 seconds or simply place on top rack of your dish washer. I clean mine at least three times a week. Overall a very smart buy.

Always buy these scrub sponges mainly for amount you get in package and they work great. Never have had a problem with them and I handwash dishes , so no dishwasher here. Use these on everything we use for cooking.
