We have two dogs: a little 7lb Yorkie and a 12lb Yorkie/Dachshund mix. If you know anything about Yorkies, that breed is known for being notoriously picky eaters. The Yorkie-Mix usually eats just about anything and is a little pudgy, so we currently use Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight kibble as part of their feeding routine. Hill's food is pricey and hard to find in our small town, which only has one pet store. I can't tell you how many times our brand has been sold out and we've had to wait for it to come back in stock. We've been looking for an alternative brand we can get at the local grocery store, so I was excited to try the Rachael Ray Healthy Weight Kibble. The little Yorkie is hit or miss with her food. Some days she eats it all up, and other days we have to coax her with a few pieces of shredded cheese...she can definitely be a diva when it comes to eating. I was a little hesitant about introducing new food because of this. So far, we're on day five of mixing the old with the new, and both dogs are ecstatic about mealtime. The little Yorkie doesn't even protest or hold out for her cheese shreds…lol! The Yorkie-Mix gobbles it all up! No signs of tummy issues either. This is the food we've been looking for!

I like feeding my dogs healthy things, and this dog food has meat as the number one ingredient, which is important! The best part is that they loved it. They get a mixture of dry and wet, and most dogs love the wet better. While this may not have changed, they loved the Nutrish so much that they ate it up first. I highly recommend it.
