The GES-802M-PSE is an 8 port Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-Tx & 2x 1000Base-X SFP managed Layer 2 Smart Ethernet Switch, with PoE functions. The GES managed Switch is 1RU 19 wide format ideal for security commercial applications. The Gigabit Managed Switches have a web based GUI available, giving a very easy setup for most demanded of a managed switch settings. The PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power to IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant Powered Devices (PDs). The electrical power is transmitted along with data in one single cable allowing you to expand your network where there are no power lines or outlets, to where you need to install devices such as APs, IP cameras, or IP phones etc.The GES-802M-PSE is easy to install and offering powerful functions such as VLAN, QoS, PoE Extended reach and PoE PD device reset options with no need of using a PC to have them set up. Simple activation of the appropriate DIP switch activates the particular function. All options can be activated simultaneously if needed. The total PoE power budget is 120W. Each RJ45 port can use up to 30W of PoE power (802.3at), with the total power not exceeding 120W. Switch also offers 4kV surge protection on all TP ports. The switch eliminates the need for individual power sources for devices in the network, saving on costs for power cables and avoiding power outlet availability issues.Fiber Optic ConnectivityThe GES-802M-PSE's design allows connectivity at Gigabit speed over fiber optic networks thanks to the two additional SFP slots running 1000Base-X SFPs.
