Beautiful at first then aphid infestation

My hibiscus plants arrived quickly and looked very healthy and even had pretty two nice sized flower buds on each plant. I planned to keep the plants inside until next spring. Within a few weeks the buds were covered with black aphids. I sprayed them and waited a week, the aphids returned. I am spraying again. Anyone else had this problem?
