Vibrant Life Hanging Hopper Bird Feeder, Black, 5 lb Capacity

This couldn't have arrived at a better time, I needed a new feeder to help boost our natural backyards eco-diversity! It's got a very simple, but elegant design that I think'll look great in any garden or yard, plus it's easy to grab and twist off the roof to quickly fill and close back up. The clear cylindrical hopper holds a considerable amount of seed and lasts a good while before I need to add more. The full 360° perch allows versatility of approach by the birds, and has space for plenty of them at once. However we'll see how it holds up in the Spring when we have more birds visiting! There are an array of small drainage holes on the bottom in case water enters the hopper. It's yet to be seen exactly how well they work throughout windy and rainy days since we're still deep in winter weather here. Hopefully it will be adequate to keep things dry and prevent seed mold or blockages. It's also worth noting that you should be sure to regularly clean your bird house to support your local bird health! Overall it's a very cute, yet practical bird feeder that I'm sure our wildlife will love - including the squirrels!

I was thrilled to add this large capacity feeder to my collection. I'm a huge bird enthusiast and love watching them at my feeders. I've quite the collection, and this one is definitely a good one. It's large but not too heavy, feed doesn't get trapped and it all goes where it should, and it opens and closes easily. Large feeders can sometimes be too heavy, but this one works perfectly.
