Wind Spinners- No Iguanas
I have purchased these wind spinners in past but from other market- place vendors through Walmart online. They are all made about the same and apparently are made in China. The JUNTEX 20 piece I purchased on 09-19-24 indicated coming from vendor in Shen Zher, China yet my packet via USPS showed shipped from Rancho Cucamongo, CA and took 7 days to deliver on 09-26-24. These were inexpensive at $0.43 each. I use these spinners in my flower gardens spaced around edge of garden and in seedling trays to frighten off green iguanas that eat my seedlings and flowers. It works well and the iguanas are rather alert and hyper to any movement and do not like these wind spinners even if they do not spin constantly depending on wind conditions- but usually some of these are always spinning so iguanas are spooked and stay away. The other creatures like birds and squirrels pay no attention to the spinning and go along doing their thing so that is good since only trying to scare off iguanas and save my new seedlings (marigolds and zinnia) and other flowers from being eaten up by iguanas. Iguanas are an invasive species in Florida and have become a serious problem with all the damage they do to plants and along the canals where they dig burrows and undermine the embankment.
