Limit seal temperature to 650 degrees F (350 degrees C) or lead wire deterioration may occur. Maintain a minimum bulb wall temperature of 500 degrees F (250 degrees C) for operation of the halogen cycle. Replace damaged sockets if deterioration is observed.
