I bought King size and the actual size is very generous with fabric and very comfortably covers the whole bed with extra fabric on each corner. Microfiber not Cotton

The King size set comes with 4 pieces, and it fits the King size mattress perfectly. However, I feel that the color of sheets is kind of lighter than what it is shown in product listing. Besides the color, the thickness is also something to be desired, as it is kinds thin compared to the sheets from CostCo. The thin sheet tends to fold up at the edge as in the attached picture, especially when you have the fan running on the top. I am aware of the material to be microfiber which is not 100% cotton. Is it a reason it comes thin?
