Safari Self-Cleaning Slicker
I have a very beautiful but thick-coated rescued Australian Shepard. I had the Safari Slicker but bought another brand to have on the screened front porch. It was a big mistake! He started to get mats on his back hair (He has no tail). I was corrected about this on his test as a Pet for Life. I have since bought more Safari brand Slickers to have in the car for field excursions and for the bedroom for calming during thunder storms. Great product!!!

Works Great For Me!
This the second time I have purchased this brush only because I have misplaced the first one. It works well for my medium and long haired pomeranian-chihuahuas. If you bend a bristle, you do need to straighten it back up, but being able to remove the hair from the brush with one hand is a nice option! Its comfortable to hold and use and with any wired brush, your dog will find it comfortable too if you keep it flat to their body.

I really like this brush. I thought the bristles would be too much for my wavy coat doxie, but it ended up being exactly what I needed for him. The bristles clean perfectly with the self cleaning action. I give this 4 stars only because I think it needs to come with at least a cheap plastic cap/cover for the bristles. That would be very very helpful.
