Perfectly fit for John Deere 1039, 4045, 6059 and 6068 engines, Replace for John Deere tool number JDG-954B.
Replacement -- Replaces ST-270 and JDG954B both in function and performance.
FUNCTION
Designed to install the crankshaft gear and front oil seal (part number RE538097 DZ111671),
Used for installation and removal of front crankshaft seal and wear sleeve without damaging the seal, it credibly prevents the seal from leaking.

INSTALL FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL
1. Inspect and clean seal bore in timing gear cover. Check for nicks or burrs. Use a medium-grit emery cloth to smooth rough areas.
2. Slide JDG954-2 Adapter (A) on nose of crankshaft and tighten cap screws.
3. Apply a light coating of clean engine oil to lips of seal and position seal on crankshaft flange.
4. Place JDG954-1 Installer (B) over adapter. Tighten screw until driver bottoms on flange of timing gear cover.
5. Install belt pulley or vibration damper.
