Kichler Lighting - Moraine - 55W 12 LED XLarge Chandelier-27.5 Inch Tall and 40

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a large chandelier with adjustable hanging height using included 1' and 6" threaded tubes to meet your rooms needs. The unit can be hung on a slant as the canopy plate has a gimbled connector. The design and quality of product are top notch with a highly polished finish to add to the overall presentation when installed. I received the chandelier via UPS and found the sturdy packaging protected the product from any damage in transit. The box was scuffed up, but all parts were in excellent condition. Overall the time to install was just over one hour with an assistant for a short time during the hanging of the fixture. The assembly is straight forward and well described in the installation instructions. The LED driver module needs to be removed from the canopy and reinstalled after the wiring is threaded through the the extension tubes. I recommend a magnetic screwdriver for the tiny screws when reinstalling the LED driver module in the canopy. Once the unit is assembled, the hang is a breeze when using the inspection cable for the wire connection and then final installation to the ceiling box. Once hung, the arms are swung into their final positions and glass shades installed. A pair of cotton gloves are supplied to avoid fingerprints on the polished metal or glass. Overall, the lighting is excellent, when at 100%power the glass shades are frosted to mute the LED brightness providing bright but not glaring light. Dimming to desired brightness is accomplished with the LED Driver Module connected to a standard wall dimmer switch. One concern I do have is regarding the integrated LED units that are in place of a socket and LED bulb. I did not see any info on replacing a unit should it fail and they did look to be permanently installed. Perhaps a note in the installation instructions would help identify how to replace an LED unit and if it is something that can be done by the consumer. This fixture provides excellent presentation and variable lighting in a room of your choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently put up the Moraine 27.5-in H x 40-in W LED 12 Light 2-Tier Chandelier in Black, and overall, I'm really happy with it. The install took about an hour, and the instructions were pretty clear. One thing- the nuts that secure it to the ceiling aren't very deep, so it doesn't sit completely flush. I'm not sure if that's just how it's designed, but honestly, once it's up, it still looks really good. A quick tip when installing it yourself: make sure the rods are spaced evenly, or the whole fixture will hang crooked. I had to adjust mine a bit to get it level, but once everything was lined up, it looked great. The light it gives off is bright and clean—definitely more of a bright white than a daylight tone. It's enough to light up a large room without being too harsh. The two-tier design helps spread the light out nicely. Style-wise, it's exactly what I was looking for. The matte black finish looks modern and sharp, and it gives the room a more updated feel. It definitely makes a statement, but not in an over-the-top way. All in all, despite a couple of small quirks during installation, I'm really happy with how it turned out. It looks great, lights up the space well, and adds a nice modern touch. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to upgrade your lighting.
