Although the unit lacked the two extra scent pads named in the instructions the unit us hopelessly easy to use. I use filtered water so I won't be burdened with cleaning it with vinegar or phosphoric acid (I'm a chemist.) The warm mist is indeed warm but not electric vapouriser warm. But it would work for sinus breathing. I bought one for me and one for my Mom.

love this it is super quiet even at the highest setting, i can get two full days without filling it up and my entire bedroom is covered. my house is super dry and for years ive had sinus issues bloody noses, pain and trouble breathing at night. i noticed great improvement after the first night. My only complaint is the compartment for essential oils, its difficilt to add my vapor steam liquid with the openings in it.
