I bought Muk Luks stretch satin ballerina slippers for my mother who has problems wearing regular shoes. She has been wearing Walmart's Dearfoam ballerina slippers with a rubber sole for indoor/outdoor shoewear. Dearfoams comformed to her diabetic feet. In addition, Dearfoams were inexpensive allowing her to buy a small size (partial amputation) and a large size for a good value. The problem is that Dearfoam ballerina slippers changed the style by shortening the toe box. That is a problem because her foot without toes needed the longer depth of toe box. I was happy when I saw the deep toe box of the Muk Luks ballerina slippers, ordered two pair (two different sizes) and had them shipped to my mother so she could enjoy one pair of shoes. Problem! The Muk Luks have a soft sole appropriate for indoor use only. They are wonderful slippers and I would recommend them...just not for my mother.

Comfortable!!

Soft and cushy but also fits snugly on your foot without slipping off. Seems to be well made. I love wearing them. I put a small orthotic inside the shoes and they still stay on my feet (sometimes an orthotic can raise the foot and it slips out of the shoe, but that does not seem to be a problem with these slippers at all). Order your true size. I am an 8 1/2 and ordered the medium. Good choice.

I bought these ballerina slippers for my 9 year old daughter's dance recital. They were great fitting and looked very well with her tutu. I would definitely recommend them to any one who wants classic ballerina slippers for their daughter.
