Pelican Storm iM3200 Rifle Single or Double Case with Foam, Rolling Case with Strong Wheels, Lockable and TSA approved, 6 press and pull latches, Black

The Pelican IM3220 storm case was longer than I needed, but the 8.5" interior depth was more to my liking. The spring loaded push button release in the center of the latches makes opening and closing effortless. The over molded rubber handles are a nice touch. Latches, handles and hinges pivot on aluminum pins. The wheels rotate on steel axel's with roller bearings. The lid should have raised ribs like the bottom of the case to make it more ridged. The bottom of the case has three 2" thick pieces of foam and one 0.5" thick piece. The lid has one piece of 2" thick egg carton type foam. I contacted Pelican and requested the IM3100 storm case be offered with the 8.5" deep interior, but I don't think they understood my request. I would like to see a storm case with internal dimensions of 34"L x 16"W x 10"D. I would purchase another storm case if they made my size. It is a well made case. The olive drab is also a nice color. Maybe woodland camo or black and gray digital pattern would be nice. The shipping box looked like it was air dropped. I was surprised the Pelican case was not scratched or gouged. A layer of small bubble wrap around the case would help.
