Fantastic wood splitter for the money
Definitely worth every penn.y; high value for a relatively low price. Instructions are a bit wonky ...all diagram and no written text, so you have to pay close attention and have patience. As an FYI, make sure that you THOROUGHLY purge the hydraulic system of ALL air! I went through four or five cycles of 5 activations to completely get the air out. Oh, and even though the instructions say to add 1.6 gallons of hydraulic fluid, I used just a few ounces shy of 2 gallons. I recommend using AW32 rated hydraulic fluid for colder climates.

Awesome electric splitter
I like the 14 ton splitter with electric power. It is much quieter than the previous small 5 ton electric splitter I owned. When this hydraulic system kicks into overdrive to split tough logs like oak, it surges power to the ram in cycles that each bite further into the log. It's also easy to move this splitter around and store it.

I was looking for an electric log splitter with maximum power, and this one fits the bill. It is easy to use, take some patience to assemble, but not difficult. Overall it's exactly what I wanted…. Hopefully it will last.
