I am assistant in a bakery. I walk a mile for every hour I clock. I need hilled boots to help with shock absorption and no laces so my feet don't stay wet from cleaning the proof box, mixers, floors and drains. I have tried boots from other companies, but the padding and soles wear out within 3 months and make my feet hurt. These boots may cost a little more but they last 3x's longer. I recommend these boots!

I have had these boots a year now. I wear them everyday for twelve hours shifts as a bar manager. I walk with confidence that I will not slip and the sole is thick enough that I can walk in pooled water and not end up with wet socks. I did have to use my own arch support insoles, but I do that with most of my shoes. These are worth the investment as they still look great after a year of hard wear. MAKE A BROWN VERSION AS WELL for those of us that like to be a little fashionable at work. (the Cole Haans are nice, but these are just so sturdy.)
