This case of cat food was delivered promptly and packed loosely in a box. The box had a lot of damage, pushed in and the PO had added tape to the outside of the box to hold it together. When I opened the box I discovered the case box had split apart and the 24 cans had escaped into the shipping box. At least half of the cans were badly dented and crushed. I have no idea how these boxes can sustain such damage but if Walmart would stress to their packers to pack items in a box closest to size of the merchandise and packed tightly, this would not happen. I have had many shipments that arrived like this

I BUY THEN DONATE THIS FOOD TO THE NO KILL (SPCA) SHELTER. THEY HAVE SEVERAL HUNDRED CATS AND KITTENS THAT NEED HOMES. THE KITTENS CAN NOT EAT THE DRY FOOD SO THEY NEED SOFT FOOD. THE KITTENS LIKE THE FLAVORS OFFERED AND SEEM TO ENJOY THIS FOOD.

I have tried other less expensive cat food but I keep returning to this 9Lives, mainly because the cats prefer it. And it is not just 9Lives, it has to be the food with the au jus and not the thick gravy. Trying to find a case of this 9Lives has been very difficult lately. Walmart is out and Amazon vascillates from $15 to over $30 a case. I cannot imagine paying that much. I feed a herd of feral cats as it is. So, when I found I could buy a 12 can box for under $5, I jumped at the chance and bought a huge amount. Thanks for not putting a limit on it, Walmart. I appreciated that very much.
