Large is a small! Double the size?

I take a large jacket, but this was too small. I can wear this if I have nothing else on, but that was not the intent. I wanted to wear my leather jacket with this vest over it. I wanted to exchange this for a 2XL vest so that it may fit, but the company issued me a refund and told me I can keep the vest. This vest is sized for a boy, so I purchased another vest into 2XL. I like the old worn look and the color of this denim vest which is the reason for the additional purchase

Order three sizes larger if you want this to fit

My jackets are all large size, so when I ordered this denim vest in large, I expected it to fit. Wearing only the vest, it fit extremely tight. I had no choice but to ask for a refund, which the company agreed to, allowing me to keep the vest, which is worthless to me. I then decided to order another vest, because the vest seemed to be constructed well, in another size. I ordered a second vest, XXL, which was still too small. Another request for refund, the company allowed. I could keep the vest, but wouldn't be able to wear as intended. I'm not going to try a third time, it's not worth the frustration and the time.
