Cheap. When I pulled the footboard out, it flexed quite a bit. I thought it was going to break. Everything is really thin and flimsy. I mean, it's sturdy enough to sleep on for a year or two, but I don't think it's sturdy enough take apart again to move. So if you buy this, expect to have to buy a new one when/if you move to a new house. Use wood glue whenever possible to help make it sturdier. The wood came all scratched up on the backs. The front seems ok at least. Not all pieces are labeled so you have to match up pieces with the ONE item that has a sticker on it. Overall, I don't recommend.
