Designed for modifying knuckles, pitman arms, and steering arms, it provides the correct 1.5" per foot taper to seat GM 1-ton tie rod ends such as ES2026, ES2027, ES2234L, and ES2234R. The reamer has a 4.5" flute length and a 6.5" overall length, with a taper ranging from 3/8" to 1" in diameter and a 1/2" shank for use with hand drills or drill presses. It features 8 flutes for clean, accurate cuts and should be used with cutting oil at low RPM for optimal performance. A protective storage case is included for safe handling and storage. This 7° tapered reamer is made from high-speed steel for long-lasting performance and precision. It features a large diameter of 1.00", a small diameter of 3/8", an overall length of 6.50", a flute length of 4.50", a 0.50" shank diameter, and a 7.15° included taper angle (1.5"/ft).
