Purchased the OMEN Max laptop in mid-November, system has worked right out of the box with no issues. System updated automatically with previous MS PC. Even though this is labeled a gaming computer, I primarily use this for cybersecurity, finance, work, and school. The computer is more than what I needed for now, but should remain that way for the next couple years. Always buy a computer for what you may need in the future, not what you need in the moment. The colored keyboard is a little more than what I need, but the FN F4 key allows you to tunr it on/off, nice feature.

What stands out the most is the cooling capabilities. The laptop is on the heavier side, but it doesnt get hot and has self cleaning fan tech i would chose this laptop over the rest.
