Bow Wow Barrier is a scratch-resistant pet barrier that is instantly ready when you need it, expanding up to 28” wide and stands 34” tall. It keeps your pets from dashing out the door when signing for a package, grabbing a pizza just delivered, or greeting a neighbor who stops by to say “Hi”. Bow Wow Barrier moves back and forth with the door to block the opening during these brief encounters. Now, no more crating pets or awkward body barriers needed when you open the door!
The handle of the barrier attaches to your door using two screw-mounted brackets, so make sure you have at least 34” of clearance beneath your door handle. The reel portion of the barrier attaches to your wall or door molding using the remaining two screw-mounted brackets. Full installation instructions are found in the User’s Guide that comes with your Bow Wow Barrier.
When you need to walk through the Bow Wow Barrier, it can be unlatched from the inside or outside. You can latch the Bow Wow Barrier before you leave, close the door, then unlatch the barrier from the outside when you return home. To unlatch the barrier, simply unhook the mesh from the brackets, then guide the handle back towards the reel.
Bow Wow Barrier’s clear, unobtrusive brackets are quickly installed to your wall and door. Are you worried about concealing the screw holes if, down the road in the future, you ever choose to remove the brackets? Remember that your entire house is constructed with screws and nails, and they are all covered up – so, this is no different. The screw holes left behind are small and easily covered and concealed with a little putty or caulk, and a dab of paint or stain.
Bow Wow Barrier was designed to be a versatile, at-the-ready barrier for use on an interior or exterior door. Because of this, Bow Wow Barrier does not contain a mesh locking mechanism and was not designed to statically cover a walkway. Simply by opening your door, the Bow Wow Barrier will instantly create a safety barrier across the opening.
