A wet floor mop headband can slide into the side gate, and then be tightened with the thumb wheel for a firm connection between the handle and mop head. I've only used once to mop my entire home and it was as expected except the clamp that holds the mop head in place loosened when I was wringing out the mop. The other item I noted was more hassle than it needed to be was placing my mop head onto the plastic holder. The holder doesn't go up high enough to just lay it on the head holder. So, I had to fight and pull on the mop to get it to feed into the plastic holder. Another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch and there wouldn't have been little work involved in matching the mop to the mop holder.
