This isn't the best galaxy phone on the market, but at $50 with Walmart's rollback pricing, it might very well be the best Galaxy phone on the market for that price! Has plenty of memory and all the benefits associated with every Samsung phone, but at less than half the cost of anything else on the market. The only thing is, you might want to invest some if that money you save in a protective case because the screen tends to break pretty easily.

Honestly, this budget phone has surpassed my expectations. Both video and picture quality are exceptional. I especially like being able to send documents and/or pictures directly to my printer using a wireless wifi connection . There are many more quality features you would expect to find only in much more expensive phones, but you'll just have to find these out for yourself. My phone came with Android 14. But within about 30 days or so, I received 2 upgrades: It was first upgraded to Android 15, then to Android 16. Android 16 was a bit buggy, but soon after the upgrade, I received updates that took care of many of those bugs. Also, some of my installed apps needed to be updated to the most current version in order accommodate Android 16, as some of my apps no longer work properly after the upgrade. So I contacted the venders to request app updates that would work with Android 16. Once I did this and then downloaded and installed the updates, my apps worked just fine. I told the vender exactly what trouble I was having under Android 16, and they quickly fixed the problem with updates. Is the Galaxy A16 128 5G phone worth price? Absolutely. It comes with a brighter screen, making it easier to see in bright sunlight, plus 128GB on-board storage memory, twice of what I had before. The three installed cameras also do a pretty good job of taking quality pictures or making quality videos. So for the price, it's a really good deal.
