This is a framed piece. I thought that the term "framed" was a frame around the outside of the painting, but it actually means that the canvas is stretched onto a wood frame. I just wanted to mention that first because I would have liked to have found this information before buying a picture without a frame, Ok, now onto this particular item, It's absolutely gorgeous! The colors are so vibrant. If you're wondering if other may see that it is a paint by number piece, the answer is emphatically NO. I am an experience artist, not by profession, just as a hobby. A medical condition is taking my eyesight. When my right eye got diagnosed as 20/light vision it affected all areas of my life including depth perception. I couldn't do art like I had in the past. Art was always my personal escape. I saw an ad for a different paint by number site and I immediately came to Walmart to see if they had something like it and "voila" they did! It was such a great feeling to be able to paint again. The brushes they sent with the picture were definitely of quality. I intend to purchase other illustration in the future. These would defiantly make perfect gifts.
