this filter pump is a awsome! I was using my 2500gph cartridge pump but my pool was a hot mess of green bc of all the rain we had ....I spent 2wks running the old pump cleaning the filters with zero effect...I bought this vevor 16in 1hp 4400gph for my 15x48 bestway pool. This thing is a beast.. I used a half gallon of liquid chlorine ran this pump for 24hrs and my pool was not green a little cloudy. I scrubbed the walls n bottom of pool the best I could continued to run the pool pump for 24 hours. I'm telling everyone that this pump cleared my pool up...it is worth every single dime ... fyi I filled my pool with city water last season..I lost half of that water due to plugs came out 😔so I filled the rest of the pool with well water. I also used pool mate metal out as directions said ...my pool is now ready to use...so happy! I highly recommend this pump!!!!

Good sized pump for an 18x48

Pretty good pump for our 18x48 pool. We decided to use sand instead of the white balls for lesser maintenance. It's only been 2 days but so far so good. Has really good suction. The blue hoses feel a little cheapy so we'll see how they hold up.
