Sorel Women's Kinetic Breakthru Day Lace in Black, White, 9 US

I love Sorel and have been a huge fan of their boots - they last for years. These however are so tight, even for my narrow feet! Arch feels fine, though, and no pinching of the heel - it's just the toe box as everyone else has said. I half-sized up, but I think I could go up a whole 1 or 1.5 sizes and they may still be snug around the toe & ball of my foot. Recipe for bunions I think. They are so cute and lightweight and well made styling (athleisure - noted someone had commented about using them for speed walking... not their intended purpose, these are a casual sneaker!). I'm unsure whether to pay return & postage on a new pair or cut losses and just send back. Such a shame! :-(

Sorel foot sizing is way off! I don't know what they base their sizing on but it is ridiculous! I opted for half a size bigger and still far too narrow and tight along the front of the foot. They need to do more market research and redesign them.
