Mod Podge Unpainted Wood Resin Pouring Plaque, Leaf, 12" x 12"

Love, love, love! Resin projects and pieces have always fascinated me, and this was my first time trying it out. I was worried that it would be messy and hard to complete- but I was wrong. Instructions were easy to understand and this resin pouring plaque made it that much simpler. You can really get creative with this by adding color, glitter, or mica powder. A little goes a long way too. The best part is the smooth, glossy finish. I was amazed at how easy this was to use. It gave me the confidence to try more complicated projects...

I had 5 coasters to practice with my first time working with resin, and I highly recommend this as a starting point. I don't have a lot of free time as a mom of three young kids, but this a good art project if you are wanting to dabble in something new. I mixed up my resin/hardener liquids, (mine took 3 minutes each time) added a couple drops of metallic dye, and poured it in the coasters. It was a fun process, and the fact that the coasters have a cut out with edges made the process easy! I might try to stain these with wood stain to give them a finished effect, but overall I love how simple and enjoyable and relatively simple this process was for a beginner!
