I just returned from almost 3 weeks in Europe with many days of motor coach drives and many hotel stays so having the portable fridge was indispensable for keeping my insulin and pens cool when air conditioning is not guaranteed(particularly in rural Bavaria) and no 2 hotels had the same type of in room fridge. Final flight home the USB lid was swapped on and I used a small power bank since the plane had no in seat power source. If you go to the TSA website you can download and print out a blue and white medical disability card which suggests calling TSA 72 hours before a trip for a special agent to help you not have the biogel confiscated as even if it is not frozen it IS supposed to be exempt from being confiscated.
