Avia Elevate Retro Athletic Sneaker (Little Girls & Big Girls)

My 10 year old daughter really likes these shoes. They are really pretty - silver, with pink and blue accents. She loves that they are slip-on athletic shoes - no need to tie the laces; and says they are very comfortable. They have good tread, and seem well made. One note to mention is that she normally wears a size 2 and the size 3 fits her perfectly in these shoes. So, be sure to check the sizing.

Our kids are the most active kids we know of. They are constantly on the go running and playing with the utmost amount of energy. That's why we were thrilled about the Avia athletic sneaker as a shoe to keep up with them. Our daughter (six years old) was super excited when we showed her the shoes. The first thing my wife and I loved was the fact that they are have the elastic laces, so there is no down time with shoes coming untied. Our son who is five tried to steal away his sister's shoes haha! We got the black color that has pink inside of it for her. We will order him his own set of blue athletic sneaker. The tread on the bottom of the shoes has worked well when we have taking our daughter on our hiking trips. As for the shoe sizing, it is true to the size. No worries about these running big or small to what you normally buy for your kids. Whenever you can find a good pair of slip-on shoes for highly active kids it's a dream come true. We will end up buying the next sizes for both of our kids since we really like how these shoes have turned out.
