Fresh out of the gate but lost momentum at the end

This book brings to view a powerful lesson that many people today simply choose to ignore; God uses trials and difficulties to help us grow. In a world that is saturated with "Me" and "Mine", it is a breath of fresh air to see an author putting work out there that will stand against the main stream flood. This book grips you from the beginning by using short chapters, and real life situations that keep you reading. The author writes in a way that makes you feel as if you are a close friend taken into his confidence. The overall premise behind this book was good, in that it brought to the forefront ways in which God may use enemies to accomplish His will. There are many eye opening moments where the author gets to the very heart of an issue. It is also helpful in learning these principles to see numerous scripture references in with which to follow along with. I must admit that toward the last half of the book the chapters became very short and did not have as much scripture references. It almost seems as if the author was just putting things on paper as he went along. There are also a few religious views presented that are entirely unscriptural and far fetched, to say the least. Overall, this book was a great read and had very many relavent and deep insights to help a person further grow and to serve the Lord while walking on this earth, (I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review)
