Fabric Care Instructions
Water temperature control It is recommended to wash with cold or warm water below 30 ℃ and avoid hot water at high temperatures (above 40 ℃). High temperature can damage the structure of cotton fibers, causing clothing to shrink and deform, and may also exacerbate dye dissolution, resulting in fading. Dark and light colored pure cotton T-shirts need to be washed separately, especially before first wear. Dark colored clothing may have floating colors to avoid staining. Detergent selection Prioritize using neutral detergents (such as specialized laundry detergent, wool sweater detergent) and avoid using alkaline soap or laundry detergent to prevent damage to cotton fibers, causing the fabric to harden or fade. If there are stubborn stains on the clothing, you can first apply a small amount of detergent to the stain and gently rub it. Do not directly use bleach (including detergents containing chlorine bleach), otherwise it will damage the color and fiber strength of the fabric. washing method Gentle hand washing is the best option. If washing by machine, flip the T-shirt over and place it in a laundry bag. Choose the gentle mode (with a speed below 800 revolutions per minute) to reduce mechanical friction on the fabric. Avoid rubbing the collar, cuffs, and other easily worn areas with force to prevent deformation or pilling. 2、 Drying and Drying Techniques Drying method After washing, do not wring out the clothes forcefully. Instead, gently press to squeeze out the moisture to avoid twisting and causing the clothes to deform. It is recommended to air dry the clothes on the opposite side by laying them flat on a clothes hanger (or hanging them on a wide shoulder hanger to prevent the collar from stretching out), and placing them in a ventilated and cool place to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight, especially for dark colored T-shirts. Exposure to sunlight can cause fabric aging and fading, while long-term exposure to white T-shirts may cause yellowing. Drying precautions Try not to use a dryer for pure cotton clothing, as high-temperature drying can easily cause severe shrinkage (the shrinkage rate of pure cotton fabrics is usually 3% -5%). If drying is necessary, choose the low-temperature drying mode (temperature not exceeding 60 ℃), and take out the clothes when they are half dry, lay them flat and dry them completely. 3、 Ironing and storage essentials Ironing techniques Cotton T-shirts generally do not require frequent ironing. If they need to be flat, they can be gently stretched and straightened when the clothes are half dry, and then naturally air dried to restore their firmness. If ironing is required, the clothes should be turned over and the iron should be set to cotton and linen mode (temperature about 150 ℃). A wet towel can be placed on the surface to prevent the iron from directly contacting the fabric and causing scorching or discoloration. Storage method T-shirts that have been washed and dried should be folded and stored (to avoid shoulder deformation caused by long-term hanging). When folding, align the collar to avoid excessive compression. The storage environment should be dry and ventilated to avoid mold caused by moisture. Moisture proofing agents can be placed in the wardrobe. It is recommended to regularly remove and air dry pure cotton T-shirts that have not been worn for a long time to keep the fabric dry. 4、 Special case handling Shrinkage remedy: If the clothing shrinks slightly, soak it in warm water with a small amount of conditioner for 10 minutes, gently stretch it to its original size, and lay it flat to dry. Pilling treatment: Pure cotton fabric may pill after friction, which can be gently removed with a specialized wool ball trimmer to avoid tearing and damaging the fibers by hand. Dyeing treatment: If accidentally dyed, apply white vinegar or bleach (chlorine free type) to the dyed area, soak for 30 minutes, and wash normally (only for white or light colored clothing).
