My scalp feels great!

Thick and creamy with a pearlized hue, it has a mild medicinal scent, pleasant, but not floral or fruity. Suds-up well. I expected it to tingle but instead it feels very soothing on your scalp. As far as thickening, it does make your hair light and fluffy. I can't tell if it's helping to grow new hair or not, but my scalp feels great, less flaky and itchy. I did not find it drying, and it gives my hair a nice look. The leave-in conditioner I like very much. Definitely compares well to the popular name brand I usually use, but it makes my hair feel softer and less greasy. It has a slight almond scent. Just a tiny dab will make your hair shiny and glossy. It also seems to "plump it up. You can jump out of bed, rub some on your hair and it looks styled. The technique I use is to rub the ends of my hair first; then whatever's left on my hands I rub through the top of my hair, that way I don't overload the top of my hair with too much conditioner. Would like to be able to keep using both products.

A Joy to Use!

I'm glad that I've tried Shapiro MD Hair Loss Shampoo and Leave in Conditioner, because as I get older my hair has been thinning. I haven't been using it long enough to tell if it's going to help stop the thinning, but I can say that these products are a joy to use. I was skeptical as to whether they'd smell good, or whether the shampoo would lather well, being it's sulfate free. But I have been pleasantly surprised. The shampoo does lather, better than other sulfate free shampoos I've used. It's got a very light, pleasant fragrance. And a pleasant creamy texture. Now for the conditioner. I really love this conditioner. You can use it as a rinse out, after shampooing, or as a leave-in, on dry hair. And boy is that a life saver! Because there are time when my long hair gets tangled because I went to bed with it damp, or just wore it in a pony a couple of days without taking it down and combing through it. So this is great for using to help get the tangles out of dry hair! It's super creamy, and when you put it in your hair, it instantly coats it, and your hair feels softer and the tangles can be combed through easily. And it's got a bit more fragrance than the shampoo, which I like. I'm very happy with both products and can't wait to see the long term effects, as I keep using them!

Nice light scent

I am very happy with the Shapiro MD Shampoo and Leave in Conditioner. I have used this product for about 5 weeks (I have shorter hair and a little shampoo and conditioner went a long way with my hair). The products have a nice light scent. The shampoo lathers well and I like the option with the leave in conditioner. I can either leave it in as long as I like or I can leave it on my hair for 3-5 minutes before rinsing out. I have noticed my hair seems fuller and a little less hair on the brush. This quality product is a little pricey, but I feel it is a great product for those of us with thinning hair. I recommend this product.
