I bought this item for my husband who works using the P90X. He stops between reps and checks his heart rate to stay in his target zone. It takes a matter of seconds to get a reading. The watch is lightweight and stays securely on his wrist. He said it was a great gift and he would recommend it to his friends.

I have been training for the "Renaissance Building (Detroit) Stair Climb - (to benefit the American Lung Association), for 3 months. Since I am pushing my way into 70 - I wanted to keep an eye on my heart rate, for analysis during my training. I searched everywhere, and found a thousand products - most of which were WAY beyond what I wanted. This watch gives me EXACTLY what I wanted - without a chest strap - that transfers info to a wrist device. This watch gives me the time, date, and heart rate - exactly what I want - plus stopwatch, timer, alarm, etc. This is as high tech as I want it. I have improved my stair climbing, and other exercise expertise, stamina, and timing because I have instant, easy access to my vital signs, and I didn't have to ask my grandson for help to set it up. I know at a glance whether I am (in zone) that I have set up for me - or whether I need to push myself a little bit more. This watch is the most versatile piece of equipment I have bought, and understood.
