I couldn't get a tree trimmer to come and deal with a limb damaged in an ice storm, but still on the tree. It was far too high for me to reach, and my tree-climbing days are over. So, I thought I'd give this kit a try; it exceeded my expectations. The kit is complete and of good quality. It allowed my neighbor and me to cut through the branch in short order once we got the saw in place on the limb.

Great quality chain

Good quality materials. I love the chain and how the carabiners hook onto the ends. I had to tie a longer rope to reach a very high up branch but it worked and sawed the branch off. This is way better and safer than climbing a tree. The branch looked way bigger once it fell down, so people beware that high up branches are much bigger when they come down. I no longer rely on my homemade rope saw that feels awkward and lacks cutting power.
