IMUSA 14in Light Cast Iron Preseasoned Wok with Stainless Steel Handle

I've been really impressed with this 14" Light Cast Iron Preseasoned Wok. From the moment I got it, it felt like a great balance between traditional cast iron durability and a lighter, more manageable weight. I used it right away to make a quick chicken and vegetable stir-fry, and it performed beautifully. It heated up quickly and held the heat evenly, which made it super easy to get that perfect sear on the chicken while still keeping the veggies crisp. I also tried it for fried rice later in the week, and the wide surface area made tossing everything together effortless. The preseasoned surface was a huge plus—I didn't have to do much prep before using it, and food didn't stick as long as I used a little oil. The stainless steel handle stayed cool enough to handle comfortably and felt sturdy, which made moving the wok around the stove much easier.

I have been cooking Asian dishes for two decades now. My family is a big fan of this type of cuisine. When they say this wok is preseasoned and ready to use, they aren't lying. All I did was quickly rinse it out of the box, dried it, and we made dinner within the hour. The heat retention was marvelous, Our veggies took on a slight charring, and they were ready to eat without having to overcook and make the food soggy. Wok is most definitely non-stick. The weight of the wok itself was heavy enough to be versatile, but not too heavy that I had to double fist it in order to lift it on and off the burner. I also used this to make crispy fan fried (or should I say wok-fried) noodles to go along with the veggies. Very excited to continue to use this wok as a staple in my family's upcoming meal plans!
